The Mother Lode Youth Symphony is pleased that Hank King will serve as our Music Conductor
for the
season. Mr. King
brings a lifetime of musical experience to the position.
Mr. King recently retired from the Amador schools where he taught band at
the elementary, jr. high and high school level.
He served as the first conductor of the
Mother Lode Friends of Music (MLFM) Orchestra and has conducted the Sierra
Symphony in Placerville. Mr. King has
been the principal clarinetist and soloist for MLFM, the Amador Community Band,
as well as orchestras and woodwind ensembles throughout the valley and foothill
areas.
